About this Process

Preparation for painting an exterior house follows a similar process.

What is included in preparation:

•Sanding weatherboards, stripping back to wood when required, window frames, doors and door frames

• Applying undercoat paint on all weatherboards, window frames, doors and door frames

• Filling imperfections on weatherboards, window frames, doors and door frames

• Applying no more gaps to hide imperfections under the weatherboards

• Sand filler that was applied

• Re-apply undercoat paint on sanded filler

Finishing the preparation:

• Apply two coats of selected paint colour on top
